In 2007, Peter and Alice Dustin returned to Algonquin Park for a nine day canoe trip from Rain Lake out to Big Trout, down the Otterslides, through Burnt Isle, then up through Littledoe, Tom Thomson, Pond, Pathfinder, Potter, Brule, McIntosh, back to Rain.2007-01_P+Adustin_CanoeTrip

Along the way, or course, lots of pictures were taken.  And once the Dustins returned home, Alice set up her easel and, drawing upon Peter’s original photos, created a series of beautiful oil paintings.  Enjoy the transition from photo to canvas:
