Friday, July 14, 2017 – Indian Falls Restaurant, Corfu, NY
Once again, Otter alumni, spouses, friends and children gathered from near and far for a another reunion weekend of friendship, fellowship, and sharing of memories.
The Friday evening welcome dinner was held at the Indian Falls Log Cabin Restaurant, Corfu, NY
As the name implies, the restaurant was RIGHT next to the falls and since the previous week had seen heavy rains in the area, the falls were running full tilt:
There was some speculation as to whether the maelstrom was navigable in a canoe, but some suggesting that superior knowledge of the J-stroke would make it a piece of cake for anyone who wanted to try.
Inside, arriving alumni and guests signed up for the weekend and then shared food and beverage as the two-day schmooze fest began.

Saturday, July 15, 2017 Holiday Hollow & Yorkshire Hall, Corfu
Thanks to the generosity of George and Barb Hills Walker, our gathering shifted Saturday morning to the Walkers’ own holiday and event center.
After a welcome coffee and scones, George led interested guests on a tour of the family facility. Originally created as a site for seasonal gatherings focused around the seasons and special holidays like Halloween and Christmas, Holiday Hollow began by offering a variety of booths, games, events and performances, primarily created by the Walkers, their children and helped by friends and temporary hires.
One key to the early success was a very detailed Halloween area with booths and displays to attract children of all ages.
